- Understand what each party is really looking for by listening and having multiple engagements
- Share all the information with both parties, even the challenges associated with the hire
- Manage the process on behalf of each party to ensure a smooth and successful interaction
- Stay connected to the people involved even after the placement
- Honest communication and feedback to manage expectations
- Constantly reinvesting time into understanding your market and developing a network
